Mission Accomplished, or is it Impossible?

It’s another fifth Monday month.

Shall we talk about December or January?

2018 or 2019?

Are you finishing this year with a “Mission Accomplished!” attitude, or a “Mission Impossible”?

As you reflect back on 2018 and prepare to dive, or belly flop, into 2019 take time to celebrate the victories.  Here, I will start:

Mission Accomplished:

  • My family safely moved across multiple states this year
  • We followed God when the path was unknown
  • We downsized
  • We read more than 1 book together as a family
  • Scio Academy’s website didn’t crash (Did I just reveal my pessimism here?)

Now, look at your struggles, they may seem impossible, but they aren’t. Here are some of mine:

Mission Impossible:

  • Let God fill my cup
  • Serve people better
  • Make friends in our new location
  • Find a church home
  • Show my children they are important

May we all find time this week to celebrate our growth and create new measurable goals for the upcoming year.

  1. It’s so good to reflect on the things God accomplished for us and then to trust Him for our future resolutions! I will be praying for you in you “Mission Impossibles” dear friend! Thanks for always reminding me to trust and hope in the strength of the Savior by your example!
